We already know that the announcement and launch of the much touted iOS 9 beta, the first from Apple would take many months. However, it looks like the Cupertino device maker is working hard by testing its updates, iOS 9 and iOS 9.2 behind closed doors much ahead of the release during this fall. The two softwares have begun to appear in the web analytics data in various sites for a few months now. It is believed that this testing is a part of Apple bid to improve the stability, prevent bugs and promote the performance of its future iOS.
If Apple has plans to schedule its release in the traditional way, then you can expect the first glimpse of the iOS 9 by the month of June this year at the WWDC or Worldwide Developers Conference. The firm also has plans to offer early versions of iOS 9 for the developers to test it before hand before it is made available publicly along with other new iOS devices during the fall season in 2015.
It is clear that the team of selected techies are already running iOS 9 tests within the walls of Cupertino Headquarters that belong to Apple. It is worth mentioning that the LetemSvetemApple, a Czech blog was the first one to make a note of iOS 9 in the data offered by Google Analytics in just 3 visits from the new Apple iOS 9 this January. It also revealed that it found three more visits by iOS 9.2 in the server logs of its website. Many other websites have also reported of noticing the appearance of iOS 9 right from November 22nd. However, the web analytics reports also indicate that only very less visits were made for few days by the latest Operating System by Apple and it rose to high numbers by the mid of December.
Such web analytics reports show that Apple has begun iOS 9 testing in various tiny devices within two months of rolling out the iOS 8 in public and it is expected that the software was made available to its employees in December. Yes, it is not unusual for Apple to indulge in iOS testing as it is expected to test its brand new software at an advanced pace before its debut in public to make sure it is rich in features and useful for its users. Hence, it is not a surprise for us to know that the maker of Mac is testing iOS 9 internally.
And for us, we will have to wait patiently for 6 months to take a glimpse of it and we have to wait around 9 months to get hold of it.
