iOS 9 Beta has been made public about a week ago. This is good news for all the iPhone and iPad users as they can try out the generation Apple platform at absolutely free of cost in their gadgets. The final version of this platform is going to be available along with the next generation flagship smartphone or iPad from Apple any time soon. However, if you are using the Beta version of the software, chances are high that you are going to run into several problems. Here are some of the common problems that users can face while using the Beta version of the iOS 9 and ways to deal with it:
Changing from WiFi Network to Phone Data and Other WiFi Problems
One common problem that you might face while using iOS 9 Beta is while changing preference from Wifi network to mobile data connection when you are on the go. Just in case you are facing this problem, there are two ways to deal with it. Firstly, you can switch on the airplane mode from and then again switch it off. In this way the data connection might start working. Or else, go to the Settings of the phone, scroll down to cellular option and click on it. Thereafter, toggle the bar to switch it off and then again switch on. Thereafter, the mobile data will start working.
Moreover, users may also face problems while connecting and disconnecting to different WiFi network. There are two ways of handling this problem. Firstly, you may go to Settings, click on General and find out Reset option. Then again click on Reset Network Settings to disconnect with all the existing network connection. Secondly, you can also go to Settings and click on WiFi. The WiFi name will appear and just click on Forget This Network.
Blank Proactive Screen
One of the new features of iOS 9 is Proactive, the PDA of this platform. Users simply swipe on the left side to get Proactive screen on their phone. However, many users are seeing blank screen when they turn on Proactive. This problem can be resolved by the following way:
- Click on Settings
- Find out General
- Spotlight Search
- Turn it Off
- Thereafter, Restart the phone, go back to the same option in Settings and Turn it on.
In all probabilities the Proactive screen will be visible.
Fast Draining Battery
After installing iOS 9 Beta, if the battery of your phone is draining really fast, then there is a way to fix this problem as well. Go to Settings and click on General. Find out the option Usage and click on it. Then click on Battery Usage. Then you would see on your screen a detailed analysis of which app is consuming how amount of battery. If you see a particular app is consuming maximum energy, then you can simply uninstall it or force-stop it, to stop fast draining of battery.
If this procedure does not stop the draining of batteries, then you can try out another fix to deal with this problem. Firstly, go to Settings and click on General. Find out the option Reset and again click on it. Thereafter, click on Reset All Settings and enter user code. In this way as well the problem can be solved.
If this process does not work, then it is best to downgrade OS to iOS 8.4.
Volume Button Is Not Working For Clicking Photos
If you need to use the volume button on your iPhone for clicking photos, then it is not going to work in the iOS 9 Beta update. We are hopeful that Apple is going to deal with this problem, in the upcoming Beta version of this software and this problem will be resolved.
Remove iTune Sign in Pop Ups
If the constant iTune sign in pop up is really bothering you, then there is an easy way to deal with this problem. Go to Settings and scroll down to Touch ID and Passcode. Browse again to iTune and App Store and turn it off. After this you are not going to get any more notifications to sign in to iTunes.
Many users are complaining that iOS 9 Beta is not showing the correct time, in accordance with its location. The ideal way to deal with this is to go Setting, find out Time and Date and switch off the Set Time Automatically option. Thereafter, manually set the correct time.
Installation Error 56
While installing iOS 9 Beta, you might get to see Error 56 whereby Messages are not installed in the phone. Then search for the iOS 9 Beta developer versions which is available for download and follow the procedure to install iOS 9 beta. While following this procedure you may also need to register the UDID of the gadget with a service provider.
After installing iOS 9 Beta if you found that you are not satisfied with its performance, then you can go back to iOS 8.4 easily. So make sure you created a back up before installing iOS 9 Beta. The process is pretty simple and it is not going to take more than half an hour and thereafter users have to run the back up stored in iTunes or iCloud. To downgrade from iOS 9 Beta to iOS 8.4, users will need a computer, access to iTunes and cable to connect the phone with computer.
Firstly, connect phone or iPad with computer and press Home and power button of the phone for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds release the power button but press the home button. Then the phone will go in the DFU mode from where downgrade process will start using iTunes. A pop up will appear that the phone is ready for downgrade. Then release the Home button as well. Thereafter, search for the page in iTunes that has the icon of iPhone and click on it. Then again click on restore iPhone option. Automatically iTune will start searching the iOS 8.4 software for download and start the process of restoration. Once the process is completed, simply restart the phone. While the phone is restarting users will be given the option to restore backup files. And thus the process will be completed.
