Not much changes were introduced in iOS 9’s Mail App this year, however Apple users must not be disappointed as some tweaks were introduced in the Mail App that made it far more easier to manage this app. Here are some of the changes that have been brought about in the app and that make handling of the app much easier.
The next generation iOS is going to come with a new digital assistant Spotlight. This is going to work along with Siri as the digital assistant. This new assistant is also going to take out information from Mail and suggest user’s options. One of the new features that users are going to see is: if users get call from unknown number, then Spotlight is going to search through contact numbers present in the Mail App to find out similarity. If an email has a contact number in it, then it can be easily added to the contacts of the phone.
Save or Attach Files
Previously, we have seen that files could not be attached to emails until it had a media in it. The new Mail App has resolved this issue. Now files can be easily attached to mails by simply pressing the message for some seconds. Saving attached documents have also become really easy. Users need to press on the file for a long time and then the share option will automatically appear. Find out “Save attachment” from the share option and save the files either in iCloud or Dropbox or any other location. But only one file can be saved at a time, which makes it a real time consuming process.
