Apple’s 8th generation mobile operating system iOS 8 is about to be released sometime in the next month, but rumor has it that Apple is planning well ahead of time for releasing iOS 9 as it has already booked date for WWDC 2015 for officially launching the 9th generation mobile operating system.
According to the latest report published in the Moscone Center Website Apple is already making arrangements for a “corporate event” which is going to take place from 8th to 12th June, 2015. Since this is time when usually the WWDC conference is hosted by Apple, so we can assume that the 2015 WWDC is going to take place from 8th to 12th June. Traditionally, Apple had used this particular website for publishing the conference dates, so we are expecting that this time also Apple is using the same platform for hinting about the dates. Therefore, it is very likely that iOS 9.0 is going to be unveiled on 8th June itself as in the past years iOS has been always released in the WWDC.
Along with iOS platform, we are also expecting the OS X to be released on the same day. However, we are not expecting the OS X to be major overhaul over OS X Yosemite. Primarily new features are going to be added to the existing platform without bringing about much change in the design of the platform.
As far as the official announcement of the date for WWDC 2015 is concerned, we have to wait till next year. But we are pretty sure that the news published in Moscone website is authentic. Apple has a range of new gadgets lined up to be released in the year 2015 and that will be its primary focus as of now. The products lined up for this year include iPhone 6, iPads, iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite.
In the Moscone website, its just mentioned “corporate event” so it might not be WWDC, but since in the last few years we have seen Moscone providing us with the right date, we are quite hopeful that it will be the date for WWDC 2015 only.

The superstars of WWDC 2014 have been iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite. A range of improvements have been brought about in both these platforms to make the platform user friendly. Apple usually maintains the traditional date of release of its products, and we are expecting the same thing to happen this year as well.
